Community Builder - Internship / Working Student

Halal Agro is an AgTech startup focusing on providing end-to-end solution to farmers and agri input retailers. Our aim is to use science and technology to solve the most fundamental challenges in Agriculture supply-chain, which are:

1. Lack of access to good quality agri input
2. Lack of access to market to sell agri output
3. Lack of expert support to crops related problems
4. Lack of tips, and ideas to increase quality and quantity of agri output

Halal Agro is seeking Community Builders who will build a community of growers, agronomists and agribusinesses. You will lead content strategy, planning, and production for our Omnichannel commerce platform - web, mobile and social media. You will have the opportunity to show your skills through content writing as well as, video scripting, production and editing for our Content management system (CMS) platform and social media.

 

Responsibilities

1. Provide online support to farmers with solutions to their farming problems, tips, and ideas
2. Build a knowledge base of farming problems and solutions, tips, and ideas
3. Lead the end-to-end process of content creation including educational and marketing contents
4. Manage the publishing and updating of written and video content on our CMS and on social media
5. Build a vibrant community of farmers, livestock producers and Subject-matter experts
6. Onboard key industry partners
7. Work in a cross-functional agile team

Key competencies

1. Student of B.Sc in Agriculture or related fields
2. Ability to work in teams
3. Have a “Can-Do Attitude”
4. Everything else we can learn together

Working Hours

Flexible working hours. Weekly between 20 to 40 hours

Salary Range

Monthly between 4000 to 8000 BDT
